Basics:
• Created in February 2004, Pro Tennis Coaching is the first foreign tennis coaching organization in Shanghai. It gathers a team of 8 of the best professional foreign coaches that are all fully licensed, experienced, and capable of teaching in English and/or French.
• We offer professionally coached individual and group tennis lessons for kids/adults of all levels/age.
• We also organize corporate tennis trainings on a weekly or monthly basis.
• We come directly to our students’ compounds or to any other tennis court that is convenient for them.
• We teach with a lot of professional tennis materials and methods, in which we adapt to each student.
Target group and objectives:
• Pro Tennis Coaching is dedicated to the promotion of tennis in Shanghai and is pleased to offer a high quality tennis program for children and adults right in your neighborhood!
• Our Junior Development Tennis Program is designed to stimulate and challenge children of all age groups, levels, and abilities
• Our future champions will learn more than how to hit a tennis ball; they will learn how to play and master the game of tennis. Our professionals use drills, games, and instructional teaching aids to help children learn simple tasks first, and then eventually move on to more challenging exercises.
• Every segment quickly builds confidence, focus, and consistency.
• Players will also work on physical conditioning to include proper warm-ups, stretching, footwork, balance, strength, and endurance.
• Our tennis programs are set in a safe, positive, and nurturing environment.
• For new players, a short assessment session can be arranged with one of our coaches, free of charge, who will advise you on the appropriate coaching course for your standards.
ProTennisCoaching Team:
• Pro Tennis Coaching gathers a team of 8 of the best Shanghai foreign coaches from France, Australia, South America, Sweden, and USA that are all dedicated to providing our members with the finest tennis lessons in Shanghai.
• All of our professionals are highly qualified players and teachers, allowing them to share their successful techniques with players of all skill levels starting from our beginners to our most advanced players.
• They all benefit from a great coaching experience with kids/adults.
• Our coaches’ team takes a special interest in each of the students as they develop, accomplish, and improve their skills.
• The coaches monitor all players throughout the coaching sessions, and at the end of each course, will advise players (or parents of juniors) of their progress and on appropriate follow-up courses. Each instructor delivers a diploma of accomplishment at the end of the tennis program to each child.
Credentials:
Our references in Shanghai since 2004:
• The British Int. School in Lujiazui: 12 kids every Wednesday.
• The German School: about 24 kids every Thursday afternoon.
• We have set up a tennis program for the kids living in the Elegant Garden Compound (Gubei), where we give tennis lessons to over 30 kids every Saturday morning.
• We have set up a tennis program for the kids living in the Garden Inside Villa Compound (Huqingping), where we give tennis lessons to over 30 kids every Monday,Thursday and Sunday afternoons.
• We have set up a tennis program for the kids living in the Windsor Place/Park Compound (Gubei), where we give tennis lessons to over 15 kids every Friday afternoons.
• We have set up a tennis program for the kids living in the Pudong Emerald Compound, where we give tennis lessons to over 10 kids every Wednesday afternoons.
• We provide kids tennis programs for Active Kidz Organization: www.activekiz.org, where we coach 44 kids every Tuesday and Thursday afternoons
• We are the official coaches of the Portman-Ritz-Carlton Hotel and Marriott Hongqiao Hotel
• We also offer Corporate Teambuilding Tennis Programs to create team spirit.
• We have about 20 adult individual lessons clients.
• We have organized a Tennis Tournament on the 10th and 11th of May 2008 with 90 players.
• We opened 2 new program in 2008 China Garden (close to Shanghai Zoo in Hongqiao Lu), where we give tennis lessons to 10 kids on Monday and Lakeville (close to Xintiandi), where we teach kids on Thursday.
